Rayalaseema University was established in the year 2008. It is a state-public university, situated in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh and established by Act No. 29 of 2008 enacted by the Legislature of the State of Andhra Pradesh and published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette on 24 September 2008. The university has been recognised by UGC and has been approved by AICTE as well as MHRD. Rayalaseema University has been accredited by NAAC with “B” grade. Rayalaseema University works hard to maintain and improve the calibre of its research, extension, and outreach programmes.
